The Dirty Duathlon is at beautiful Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA featuring a run-bike-run course with scenic trails to run on and a fun mountain bike course. Included for each athlete is a TBF Racing beanie, athlete goody bag, hot post race meal and free athlete massage. Awards are for 1st through 3rd place in each age group/category for the Dirty Duathlon and 1st overall for Relay Team Divisions.
Start Time: Dirty Duathlon 10:00 am
Distance: Run 2 mile – Bike 6 miles – Run 2 miles
The 2 mile run course is the same for both legs of the race. The course will run on granite paths, single track trails, and a small section on pavement with an aid station at the start of the run and the half way point.
Run Course Map
The bike course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with lots of turn that flow beneath the oak and pine forest. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. Relay Teams consist of one cyclist and one runner. Entry fee includes two race shirts, goody bags and post race meals. Awards will be first overall in Male, Female and Coed divisions for the Dirty Duathlon.
The Transition area will be on a first-come basis. The transition area at all TBF Racing events is for athletes only. All non-athletes must remain outside of the transition area at all times on race day. Bodymarking will be take place at the entrance to the transition area and must be completed before you enter the transition area. Athletes will have their race number marked on their legs and arms and have their age division on their calf. Glass or bottles are not allowed in the transition area.
Aid stations will be located in the transition area and at mile one on the run course, serving cold water and FLUID Electrolyte beverage.
Listening devices of any kind: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…are not allowed on the run or bike courses. Helmets must be worn and buckled on the bike at all times. Run numbers must be worn on the run and when crossing the finish line.

For the Dirty Duathlon there will be 10-year age groups beginning with 19 and under and ending with 70+ for male and female individuals. Awards will be presented three-deep in each 10-year age group, with Overall Special Awards to first Male and Female finisher. For Relay Teams there will be first place for each division: male, female, and coed teams.

Post Race Athlete Food
Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soup or chili with fruit, cookies and beverage.
Training and Coaching:
TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-sport Coaching and Personal Training.
Refund and transfer policy
TBF Racing has a no refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held rain or shine.
Race for FREE program
Our Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program offers a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year. Each volunteer shift is 4 hours. We ask volunteers to reserve a volunteer position at any of our events by emailing Teri@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Granite Bay State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $12 vehicle charge for day-use or $125 for an annual pass. Contact phone: 916 988 0205.
