Chanoko 31K, 10K and 5K trail runs

Chanoko 31K - new 8:30 am start time at the Auburn Overlook and finish at Granite Beach.

The first 3 miles are downhill via Cardiac Trail to the Pioneer Express Trail at the American River. Runners will follow the Pioneer Express trail to the finish at Granite Main Beach, Folsom Lake.

Fully stocked Aid Stations along the course.

Mile 2 - Oregon Hill Parking lot (did you forget anything?)
Mile 9.5 - Rattlesnake Bar
Mile 11.5 - Horseshoe Bar
Mile 17 - Beeks Bight
Mile 18 - Old County Road

Chanoko Bus pickup will be in a new location beginning at 7:30 am. It will be at the Stage 4 Boat Ramp parking at Granite Bay.

Chanoko 10K and 5K will start and finish in a new location at the Group Picnic Areas at Granite Main Beach, Folsom Lake.

Turn right into the Granite Main Beach and then turn right again into the parking lot and go the south end of the parking lot. There is another event the same day that will take place in the main picnic area.

8:00 am: 10K start (at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake)
8:10 am: 5K start (at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake)
8:30 am: 31K start (at Auburn Overlook Park)

31K (19.26 miles)
10K (6.2 miles)
5K (3.1 miles)

We will have water, FLUID electrolyte, Coke, Hammer energy gels, sweet and salty chips, trail mix, dill pickles, snacks and fruit at each aid station.

Packet Pickup

Race packets will be available race morning from 6:30 am to 8 am at the race site.

7:30 am	Buses begin transporting runners to 31K start - Boat Ramp Stage 4, Granite Bay
8:00 am	Start of Chanoko 10K - Granite Main Beach, Folsom Lake

8:10 am	Start of Chanoko 5K - Granite Main Beach, Folsom Lake
8:30 am	Start of Chanoko 31K - Overlook Park, Auburn

All finishers will receive a custom Chanoko Finisher Medal.

10K and 5K first place male and female finishers will receive Chanoko Overall Champion flasks.

Custom award plaques will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each 10-year age division.

All 31K finishers will receive a custom Chanoko long-sleeve shirt. 31K top three male and female finishers will receive Overall Champion, Runner-Up, and Third Place flasks.

Custom award plaques will be presented to the top 3 finishers in each 10-year age division.

Refund and transfer policy

TBF Racing has a no refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held rain or shine.

Training and Coaching:

TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-sport Coaching and Personal Training.

Equipment

Listening devices: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…ARE allowed in the Chanoko 31K and 5K. Runners must exercise caution when crossing any roads and must pay attention at all times when running trails.
