Gold Rush Growler 10 Mile & 5K Trail Runs

The Gold Rush Growler Trail Runs start and finish at Granite Beach, Folsom Lake SRA with beautiful scenic courses along the shoreline and on single track trails.

The Gold Rush Growler 10 Mile Trail Run and 5K will have new Courses for 2025 - along with post-race IPA beer and a custom Gold Rush Growler Finisher Beer Glass! Commemorative Gold Rush Growler race shirts are available for $20 in mens and womens cut.

First place Overall Male and Female in The Gold Rush Growler 10 Miler & 5K will receive Overall Champion Awards. There will be awards three deep in each ten-year age group for The Gold Rush Growler 10 Miler and the 5K Run plus Gold Rush Growler Beer Glasses.

5K Course

The 5K Course course starts at the south end of Granite Beach and heads north toward Oak Point and Old County. The course then returns to Granite Beach on some new trails and some old favorites.

10 Mile Course

The new 10 mile Growler course starts at South Granite Beach and heads north to Oak Point. The course will stay on the paved Park Road to Doton’s Point after a loop through the Old Oak Point Campground. The course winds around Doton’s Point before taking secret trails out toward Nude Beach and back to Beeks Bight. The course then takes the Jedi Trail to Old County Road before making a u-turn up the Original Climb to Dee’s Tree. The course returns to Old County on the new Flow Trail before returning to Granite Beach on some new trails and some old trails. You are going to love the course.

Aid Stations

  • Mile 2 – Doton’s Point
  • Mile 4.5 – Beeks Bight
  • Mile 7.5 – Old County

Water, FLUID performance electrolyte drink, and Hammer Gel

Equipment

Listening devices: MP3, IPod, headphones, etc…ARE allowed in the Gold Rush 10 Mile Trail Run and 5K. Runners must exercise caution when crossing any roads and must pay attention at all times when running trails.


Packet Pickup

Race packets will be available race morning from 6:30 am to 8:00 am at the race site.

Refund and transfer policy

TBF Racing has a no refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held rain or shine.

Competitor Goodies

Included for each competitor is a Gold Rush 10 Mile/5K Finisher Beer Glass along with ice cold local IPA beer for athletes 21 year of age and older.

Post Race Athlete Food

Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soup or chili with fruit, cookies and beverage.

Training and Coaching:

TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-sport Coaching and Personal Training.

Granite Bay State Park on Folsom lake is located at the end of Douglas Blvd, 5-6 miles East of I-80. Turn right at the third stop sign after entering the park for the Granite Beach parking lot. There is a $12 vehicle charge for day-use or $125 for an annual pass. Contact phone: 916 988 0205.
