The TRI for FUN Triathlon & Duathlon are back in 2025 at Rancho Seco Park in Herald, California with races on June 8th, July 13th, and August 10th for the 42nd year of TRI for FUN Triathlon racing!
The race is at beautiful Rancho Seco Park featuring a lake swim, a road bike course, and a dirt trail run.
All racers will receive a TFF finisher item, post race refreshments, plus awards in each age group. TRI for FUN Commemorative race t-shirts are available for $20 when ordered before August 4th.

Packet Pickup
Race morning from 6:30 – 8:30am at the race site.
Park entry between 7:30 and 8:00 am
Entry into Rancho Seco Park is closed from 7:30 am to 8 am due to our TRI for KIDS Triathlon event. Vehicles can park and walk in approximately one mile or wait until the road opens at 8:00 am.

- Triathlon: awards for the top three finishers in each 10-year age group
- Duathlon: awards for the top five overall male and female finishers
- Relay Teams: awards will be presented to the top three teams in three divisions: Coed, Female, Male

Refund and transfer policy
TBF Racing has a no refund policy on all of our events. A refund requested prior to race week will be given a TBF Race credit for the amount of the entry fee minus a $25 processing fee. Credits are not given during race week. Transfers are allowed from one TBF Racing event to another within a one-year time frame. There is a $25 transfer fee. Transfers are not allowed during race week. ALL TBF Racing events are held rain or shine.

Rancho Seco Park is the site of many of the TBF Racing summer events. The park features plenty of camping and the lake’s summertime water temperature is in the 70s.
Please note that the parking fee at Rancho Seco Park has increased from $10 to $12 per car. Exact change is preferred.
